Captain Hank felt that June, September and October were the best times for perch fishing, although in the past several years, perch were caught all summer and fall aboard the Sturgeon General. This is a great day catching your winter's supply of fish. Many of the perch are in the "jumbo class" and limits are common. The Sturgeon General is a 29.11 ft. Baha hardtop with a 10.6 beam. This gives everyone plenty of room to move around while catching the perch. Don't forget to bring your own lunch and maybe some hot tea or coffee. Also, bring some warm clothes, although the weather is rather warm this time of year. A rain coat also should be considered.
